Being a child is hard, and the challenges faced from early years continue to grow and shape our future as adults. If we learn to master our emotions and experiences as children, we can adapt and respond in a calmer and more effective way as we grow into adulthood.
For adults, it’s a constant battle of juggling life and being there for your children; finding the time and patience to listen and support your children in the best way possible, when all the pressures of life drag you away. As with adults, children are getting caught up with technological stimulation and distractions, thereby losing the connection to their senses and the ability to connect through their bodies.
Research is showing that our children are experiencing higher levels of stress and anxiety than ever before and Mindfulness it is a great supportive skill to teach and share with our children in order to assist them in navigating the modern world.
The meditations set out in this programme provides adults and children the opportunity to practice both together and separately, the fun and calm that mindfulness can bring.
